HBO’s ‘The Righteous Gemstones’ is a comedy TV series created by Danny McBride. The show premiered on August 18, 2019 on HBO and follows a famous dysfunctional family of televangelists. The show features McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson, Adam DeVine, Cassidy Freeman, Tony Cavalero, Tim Baltz, Skyler Gisondo, and Walton Goggins. In September 2019, HBO renewed the series for a second season.

HBO describes the show as follows: “This comedy series tells the story of a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work. McBride will star as main character Jesse Gemstone, who sees himself as a maverick in the ministry game, taking what his father, Eli Gemstone, has built and expanded it for a more modern audience.”

The Righteous Gemstones S2 (Charleston, SC) In addition to the many general extras needed of all ages, races and types, the show is also seeking the following specific & Featured Extras needs for our first episodes of filming:

Males with Police/Military Experience to portray 1960’s Police. Must have hair suitable for the time period and no facial hair. Must be able to have hair adjusted and possibly attend a fitting if selected. Pay Rate 125. Film date Fri. 3/13.
Afternoon call time and filming into evening hours.

AFRICAN AMERICAN MALES (ages 18 -up) 1960’s scene. Will require hair and facial hair suitable for that time period. Must be wiling to have such adjusted and possibly attend a wardrobe fitting if selected. Pay rate $125.

The Righteous Gemstones (Charleston, SC) Seeking 12 Males with Police and or Military Experience to portray 1960’s Police Officers for filming Friday. 3/13.

Night Scene Filming (possible afternoon call time and filming very late).
Should know how to properly handle a firearm and secure an area should such be needed in the scene.
Those selected may be given 1960’s haircuts due to the occupation and time period. A wardrobe fitting prior to filming may also be required.
